ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Steve Daniel was born in North Georgia in 1951. Growing up in the sticks, he was always an adventurous kid.

Destined for bigger and better things, he attended the University of Georgia pursuing a BBA with a Marketing
Major.

Upon graduation in 1974, Steve, heavily in pursuit of fortune, ran his business as one with his ambition does: well.

After Jamaica, Steve started bringing in shipments from Mexico, leading to his arrest in the early 1990's. In his
possession were 400 pounds of marijuana.

The federal prosecutor for the Northeast District of Alabama told Steve that he did not want to see him behind
bars, rather he just wanted everything that he had.

"Forfeiture is the name of the game in my district."

So went his house, his cars, his bank accounts, etc. So back to the part about not wanting to see him behind bars..
